Meet Sami Scheetz
Sami Scheetz is the son of Hala and Raphael Scheetz. Sami is a former union organizer and member of Teamsters Local 238, and a former Iowa State Representative. He has spent the last 10 years working to elect Democrats across the country. Sami’s mother immigrated to the United States from Damascus, Syria, and his father was raised in a hard-working, blue-collar household. Their work ethic and determination serve both as a blueprint for Sami’s success and the embodiment of the community he represents today.
