Public Health & Healthcare Access

Everyone deserves access to quality care. As a Supervisor, Sami is committed to expanding behavioral and mental health resources, improving access for residents with disabilities, and supporting the incredible work of our Linn County Public Health Department in its mission to keep our community safe. From the Linn County Access Center to community-based services, public health must be responsive, inclusive, and available to every resident—no matter their income or ZIP code.

Improving Our Infrastructure

From roads and bridges to broadband and flood prevention, Linn County’s infrastructure is essential to our economy and safety. Sami supports smart, long-term investments in infrastructure that create good jobs and strengthen our communities for future generations.

Standing Up for Workers

As a union organizer and lifelong advocate for working families, Sami has always fought for fair wages, benefits, and dignity on the job. On the Board of Supervisors, he’s committed to supporting county workers, expanding labor rights, and ensuring Linn County is a model for pro-worker government.
